Georgetown Environmental Assessment Study

Intensification Study of New GO & TARL Stations

As part of the Georgetown EA study, we examined the design of a new station for GO and TARL. Like Dundas West station, we proposed intensifying the development potential above the station which would incorporate grade related retail, parking and highrise residential/ office buildings.
Proposed development of both Bloor and Weston stations. These studies were the precursors to the Mobility Hubs currently being proposed. We also proposed connecting the TTC Dundas West Station to the GO platforms as well as various pedestrian connections to access both stations. With our accumulated knowledge of the site and the concept of a Mobility Hub we can hit the ground running.
Part of the upgrades of the GO Transit Georgetown / Weston Corridor (EA Stage), involved the design and construction of a southern terminus for the new rail link to Pearson International Airport. From within the heart of the Union Station, adjacent to Track 1, the rail line extends to Pearson International Airport’s new Terminal 1.
