This student residence at Georgian College was designed with the intention of being mirrored in the future to complete a ‘U’ shaped building that would house 1,000 residents.
The initial phase houses 525 beds. During the second phase, the central service core can easily be upgraded with additional elevators and mechanical systems to accommodate the additional requirements.

The design exercise involved a thoughtful analysis of the campus’ master plan in order to determine the best location for the new residence in consideration of neighbouring campus buildings, future developments, and existing site conditions.
