The project involved the complete gut, retrofit and re-glazing of a 14-story office tower that had been sitting empty for a number of years. Essentially every floor was stripped back to the bare walls and ceilings including the mechanical and electrical distribution.
This demolition and removal exercise involved the identification and removal of hazardous substances that were directed to dedicated waste sites. The demolition also included the truncation of an adjoining theatre in order to create more at grade parking. The renovation included the Interior design of the main floor lobby, the typical floor elevator lobbies, upgraded and updated typical floor washrooms and a completely new ceiling with state of the art light fixtures. The end result was a class “A” revenue-producing, energy-efficient corporate office building.
