Solid Waste Management Services Permanent Staff Facilities Investigation
Strasman was engaged by City of Toronto to undertake an investigation to assess how to optimize the efficiency of staff facilities for the Solid Waste Management Services division at the Dufferin Waste Management Facility. Working closely with the City and the end users, Strasman conducted a thorough investigation of the facility needs, evaluated the existing infrastructure, and developed three organizational options. The final report, which provided a comprehensive overview of the exercise and the findings, recommended a small renovation to Building 250 for the PR&M section, and the construction of new building (approximately 60,000 sf) to accommodate the ID and AM section.
