SAI with Buttcon Construction and a multi-disciplinary consultant team produced a comprehensive and considered submission for The Ajax GO Station: Multi-level Parking Structure and Platform Improvements Design-Build Request For Proposal. SAI reviewed the proposed designs presented in the RFP document and found OBC compliance oversights. The review prompted considered redesign which introduced additional parking spaces and construction savings.

Considerations found in the design include: GO Signage Standards were integrated into the presentation renderings, LEED best practices, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), This is visible in well lit passages, open sight lines and security screening above the ground floor, Barrier-free accessibility, Mutlimodal Transit Hub, Careful consideration of the multiple means to access the station ensures a fluid and hassel-free commuter experience.
