The project involved a total interior retrofit at One Front Street West, Toronto, including mechanical and electrical systems, for Public Works and Government Services Canada.
The building is a designated heritage building and the design required sensitivity to conservation requirements. We were responsible for the design and co-ordination of the Training Centre, new office layouts, interior design, and systems implementation. The demands of this challenging project included a critical timeframe, complex tenant programming, and the creation of an exceptional working environment.
The building was awarded a Building Owners and Managers (BOMA) Building of the Year – Historical Award in 2000.
